IEDB-3D 2.0: Enabling visualization of epitopes on the 3D structure of the corresponding antigens

Abstract The Immune Epitope Database and Analysis Resource (IEDB) contains information related to antibodies, T cells, MHC across a broad spectrum of research fields (infectious diseases, cancer, allergy, autoimmunity, transplantation). A critical component this is three-dimensional structural data on cell receptors (TCRs), pairwise residue interactions between immune antigens, which we refer as IEDB-3D. using atomic models helps understand the intricate receptor epitopes. Here, present IEDB-3D 2.0, incorporates complete overhaul how obtain 3D from PDB AlphaFold database. We implemented new molecule visualizer, iCn3D, replace outdated java-based technology. In addition, have designed epitope mapping system that matches each available in IEDB with its antigen data. Lastly, integrated our immunogenic retrieved IEDB’s ImmunomeBrowser, now can be used highlight regions an directly iCn3D. Overall, 2.0 provides updated tool platform visualize cataloged IEDB.
